About MITSU FOUNDATION
MITSU FOUNDATION was previously established in the United States as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization, supporting people affected by war, natural disasters, and poverty, with a particular focus on vulnerable children.
Founded by Japanese entrepreneur MITSUO IMAMURA, who overcame numerous challenges in his youth and achieved business success, its activities were primarily supported by his personal contributions, driven by a strong desire to give back to society.
Today, MITSU FOUNDATION no longer operates as a legal entity and does not accept tax-deductible donations. However, its core philosophy remains unchanged. Social contributions continue on a personal basis through music, creative work, and independent support initiatives.
Music as a Message
At MITSU FOUNDATION, we share messages of hope and renewal through original songs written and composed by our founder, MITSUO IMAMURA.
All songs are distributed across more than 55 platforms, including Apple Music and Spotify, reaching listeners in over 185 countries and regions.
Revenue generated from the music is personally directed to trusted international humanitarian organizations, including the Red Cross, Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), UNICEF, and Save the Children.
Through music, we aim to ensure that support reaches those who need it most around the world.
