Please review the following terms regarding donations to MITSU FOUNDATION (hereinafter referred to as “the Foundation”).
1. Purpose of Donations
Donations to the Foundation are used to support our activities. The funds are allocated to the Foundation’s operational expenses (such as website maintenance, advertising costs, and promotion of the Foundation’s projects) and donations to trusted international charitable organizations such as UNICEF, Save the Children, Doctors Without Borders, and the Red Cross.
2. Use of Donations
Donations will be used at the Foundation’s discretion to support the Foundation’s activities and charitable projects. We aim to allocate over 90% of donations from supporters to support international humanitarian organizations, ensuring that your contributions make a meaningful impact on global aid efforts.
3. Refund Policy
Once a donation has been made, it cannot be refunded for any reason. Please carefully review the donation amount and purpose before proceeding.
4. Donation Receipts
After the donation is completed, a receipt will be sent to you via email through Stripe. Please keep this email as your official receipt.
5. Recognition Program
Our foundation recognizes donors based on their cumulative donation amounts as follows. Donors who meet the conditions will be notified by the foundation.
- For cumulative donations of USD 3,000 or more: After confirming the donor’s preferences, we will present a commemorative plaque.
- For cumulative donations of USD 10,000 or more: After confirming the donor’s preferences, we will present a commemorative trophy.
6. Cancellation or Modification of Recurring Donations
Cancellations or changes to donation quantity can be made freely at any time through the Stripe customer portal.
7. Donor Privacy
The personal information of donors is protected under the Foundation’s privacy policy. Donor information will not be shared with third parties.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising in connection with these terms will be governed by the laws of the country or region designated by the Foundation and resolved in the court specified by the Foundation.
